For this purpose, the mathematical theory of chaos is highlighted as a tool for the study of dynamic systems whose behavior changes over time. Consequently, we study the economic models of Solow and Hicks whose influence is of great importance for the analysis of the behavior of any economy. Since an approach of this nature related to the Panamanian economy has not been found in the literature, this work constitutes the first treatment of economic dynamics from the perspective of dynamic systems. However, although a number of economic models can be found that address this approach, reference will be made to Solow and Hicks' economic models to analyze the behavior of the Panamanian economy in the framework of chaos theory. The results that we have obtained are very useful since they can be used to make the pertinent adjustments in economic policy, focused mainly on the achievement of the welfare of the Panamanian people. Finally, with the use of technological tools for computation, a model is developed to detect the chaotic behavior of the Panamanian economy.
Narciso Agudo, Idulfo Arrocha ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://revistas.utp.ac.pa/index.php/prisma/article/view/2381 Mon, 05 Feb 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Spanish https://revistas.utp.ac.pa/index.php/prisma/article/view/3799
The accumulation of garbage in Panama has become an environmental and healthcare challenge that requires a change in models, management policies, and general awareness to achieve effective solutions. Thus, it is important to inculcate techniques such as recycling for the management of solid waste which contribute to the reduction of environmental pollution. This mixed method study presents the use of interactive wall murals as a pedagogical tool to promote the use of this technique. To achieve this goal, electronic elements such as the Node MCU board with the ESP-8266 were incorporated in the design of a circuit that would allow interaction and familiarization with the types of waste and the colors that identify them. Observation, experimentation, and dissemination of results through the construction and presentation of these murals helped strengthen their educational skills and evoke their interest, as evidenced by the surveys and interviews. This proves the usefulness of interactive murals as a valuable technique to enhance learning and promote the use of recycling.
Jorge Enrique Serrano-Reyes, Maria Luisa Singh Gustavino, Marta Alvarez, Milena Zambrano, Miguel Castelló Sosa ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://revistas.utp.ac.pa/index.php/prisma/article/view/3799 Mon, 05 Feb 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Pedro Vicente Maldonado.
