The Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá (UTP) presents to the scientific community and the general public, the first edition of the year 2024, of the Revista de I+D Tecnológico (RIDTEC), Volume 20, Issue 1. With the purpose of disseminating the scientific research work at UTP, RIDTEC was born in 2002, as an open journal (OA) peer-reviewed Double Blind, with biannual publication. In 2017, with Volume 13, no. 2, it starts its publication in digital format.

RIDTEC is the main Panamanian journal for the publication of research papers in the areas of engineering and technology, supporting national and international teachers and researchers in the publication of their work.
